nice pics. I've noticed a lot of Helo's in several of the brazil pics. Is it just the airport, or is there a lot of rotorcraft activity in Brazil?

It's crazy, they are everywhere. I went to a Civil Aviation School to do some regulation ground school (here Flight schools don't do ground, you go to an other school), out of 40 guys in the class only two fixed wing pilots.

Here you can get a piston heli job with the min hours, for turbine you need around 800TT. They like fixed wing/heli pilots because of their IFR license (lots of offshore flying), which you can't get here on an helicopter...

The Heli CPL is a bit more expensive they go for around 300-400 an hour for a R22. If you think that the fixed wing CPL, with IR MEI (it's a CPL add on here) goes for 25 000 dollars.....
