Heeeey. I'm a CFI in California, looking to fly part time in the Bay Area. Any reviews on any good FBO's out there? Places I've heard of:

Aclan Pro Air
Diamond Aviation
Nice Air
WVFC
Advantage Aviation
Shoreline Flying Club
What else is out there???

Where is the best place to go? Good business? Friendly people? Also, anyone currently instruct at any of these places and know of a position avialable. Willing to commute to SQL, PAO, HWD, and OAK.

I have a friend who flies out of Oakland who has been unable to find any CFI jobs in the area due to the economy. However, some of the flying clubs might be wililng to put you on their insurance and let you use their planes to instruct if you can find your own students. That's what my friend's trying to do right now, recruit pilot students from his job in IT.

As the chief at Aclan, I can say a good CFI can always find the right place. As of openings, if you have students most places will let you on you just have to go through the ins. ride. Let me know if you any questions.
