Saint Louis University/Parks College

Hey guys,
This is my first post ever on this board so I will introduce myself first. I am currently a Private Pilot working towards my ME addon in an FBO down here in Puerto Rico, which is where I live. I will be attending SLU in the Fall. I have no idea what I want to major in, all I know is that I want to minor in flight in order to keep receiving flight training. I have no car so doing that "get your licenses at a local FBO" is a no go for me especially since its Saint Louis and rather dangerous to walk at night (or even during the day) alone.

Anyways, I want to know what people who attend or attended the flight program at SLU have to say about it. Its not like I can back down as it is too late, but everything I have heard from the school has been positive so I am not worried. Really, what I want to know is any sort of things I should look out for. Bad maintenance etc. I would also like to know how the flight building is and structured as I have never seen it before and would like a clearer picture.

thanks for your time.

Bienvenidos :)

Aaand although I'm not a student at SLU, I have walked around the campus, and it is a really nice atmosphere. I've only heard good things about the flight department as well. It is quite spendy though.

Gracias!
Thanks for the info. I know it is expensive but I got scholarships and of course financial aid. I find the school to be a much better value than say ERAU since its a couple of times bigger and way more diverse. If I don't like what I study I could even go to pre-med or pre-law if I wanted to. You don't have that opportunity at ERAU and I also think riddle is too up tight about their procedures. But anyways, that is a whole other story. I also got into UND, and I considered it but Missouri is cold, not North Dakota cold.:p

Anyhow,
Cheers:beer:
