Any JC'ers or lurkers (that was an invitation to register and become a JC'er...) going to be at the SAFECON next weekend??
 
hey lloyd,
i was down last week. too bad i didn't see this post before i left. we left for home this morning. did you make it out to smyrna last week? did you hear we beat nashville & memphis in daily operations?!?!
 
I was down there for a couple of days. Nice weather when I was there, except for the banquet while everyone is dressed up of course. It was nice to be able to go out to teh lne and wander around with the team...at the last nationals we couldnt get anywhere near the planes.
 
flygirl, I'm guessing you from either U of I or SIU...would either of those be correct? You're right the weather was great...and I was glad to see I wasn't the only one with one hell of a sunburn! Did you happen to wander over to the maint. hanger and check out the 747?
 
My boy goes to U of I, I am at a private school in Elgin. I didn't go to the maintenance hangar, I hung out with the team mostly. I did the 747 when it was out, though.
