(hotel site) Excalibur - Standard Room: Fri($139.95)Sat($159.95)
(hotel site)Stratosphere - $159.95(standard room)-$269.95(suite)
- suite looks to be a pretty good deal. you get two queens with a sleeper sofa (6 people = $45/night per person)

Sahara is the newer casino in that area - even has high speed internet in the rooms.

Their showing $240/nt for a suite & $130/nt for a std room

they are also on the monorail system

I'd actually like to stay there as well.. they have some great cheap craps tables where the odds are just better (part of why I like the older side of the strip)

Anyone up for the Wynn?

J/K I most likely can't afford it. But I love flying by that casino on takeoff in vegas. The procedure is to turn left heading 290 and vectors to V538 then to GFS VOR. Well, taking off on the 01's, and then immedietly turning left puts you literally right over the casinos by about 1000 feet. It looks a lot closer though because your in a good rate bank. That casino is huge. It literally dwarfs the mirage. Staying at these hotels when I was younger was much easier because my parents would always front the bill. Sheeesh!

I don't think anyone here can afford that place.. but I definately plan to walk THRU it! haha

Just got back from Vegas yesterday - we stayed at the Sahara and it was very nice.
We've also stayed at the Stratosphere and that was also good.
We tend to stay in the North Strip area.
