Are there any students/instructors that can give reviews of this flight school. Im interested in finishing up my CSEL rating and they have a good deal on the Arrow / Commercial package. Actually they have good rates on all of their aircraft.

DFWflyer,

Long story short, you will not be dissapointed. 2 weeks ago, I added Commercial ASEL to my existing commercial certificate and could not be more satisfied. The entire staff is very friendly, but most importantly, they are all professionals in my honest opinion. I'm a military pilot, so i'm VERY particular about where I get my training and who trains me. I drove 3.5 hours just to take lessons at Dutch Wings. I would recommend Dutch Wings to any pilot ready to take the next step in training. The aircraft are all in great shape and the rates are very reasonable. Hope this information helps.

I fly to Houston Southwest on a regular basis. I interact with the staff of Dutch Wings as well. You'll not be disappointed with the professionalism of staff or quality of aircraft there.

I too was very impressed and satisfied with my experience with Dutch Wings. The prices were excellent, and the level of instruction and professionalism exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately the plane broke before my checkride and I was forced to go elsewhere to finish up.

If you give them a little notice they will be able to work you into their schedule very nicely, if you are looking to get some training done in a limited timeframe (which I was).

Recommended.

Anyone know the status of 199JS?

I also highly recommend Texas Taildraggers, who are also based at AXH, if you are looking to get a Tailwheel or Spin Endorsement, or just fancy doing some Acro.

Where do most students live in the area that are not local?

I was inquiring about the CFI program and Blake responded saying they do not currently offer student housing. He recommended some hotels around the area. I also found one called Extended Stay for around $40/night. The program should take around 2 weeks so its not too bad, but I can definitely see it as a negative for any potential Commercial students.

I'm still looking at many options, I'm just mainly looking for quality instruction at this point.
