The last Congress was among the least productive in history. This Congress has as weak a Speaker as the last one, so I wouldn’t expect much to actually get done.

Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of people in congress who are there to govern whatsoever.

One day in the future, someone is going to pick up an old dusty civics book and think “HOLY CRAP! What happened? This isn’t anything close to what’s supposed to be” if all books haven’t been burned by then.
