Just a quick update on this but most job applications for foreign apps will ask for "no criminal record"

had a dui when I was 21 ( misdemeanor NOT felony ) myself over 14 years ago with NO other convictions/etc etc since.. now flying an Ejet for a regional in the states FO.

Am I disqualified period ? Is that question more pertaining to no armed robbery or attempted murder type things ?

usually they just want a print off of your record from a local police department. So since that would be not on there since it's so old, I wouldn't worry about it.

The company I flew corporate for in Dubai didn't check at all (or maybe didn't care). I google'd a dude's name and he had been arrested for shoplifting in the US and you could even see his mugshot online! Doh!
