slushie
Still here.
The flight school I am intending to do my multi at requires the student/renter to maintain $30,000 of hull damage insurance.
I already have the renter's insurance for single engine from AOPA's deal-e-o (at $215 for a year), so I thought I'd call them and ask how much it would be to add on the same for my multi-engine training. A couple questions into the interrogation the lady asks "How much multi-time?" zero of course and she immediately goes "oh....." "It's gunna be hard to do with no twin time at all, but I'll call you when I get the information"
I got the return call:
over $1400!!!
What a load of crap!
I know we have some skymates/ari ben people on here. To you and any MEI's or multi-rated pilots I ask: Is this normal? How do I go about dealing with this catch-22?
