All in all I think its pretty cool that someone is trying to do something to deter another "terrorist-type" event. Hopefully, the only ones complaining about it should be those without the proper documentation. First people complained nothing was being done, then when folks "try" to do something there is a big hoopla.
I got harrassed by the TSA many times. I got mad at first, but then realized that checking me, a little baby, or granny is a necessary step.
If I'm an american citizen and don't have a birth certificate, in my case I'mma be a man and get a new one. If it's lost get a new one. How are you gonna stop having eveidence of your citizenship LOL?
If you are OK with the new rule hopefully I'm not stepping on your toes, but if you're complainin about it and are an american then...........

What about those of us who are not US citizens but have acquired permanent residency status through completely legal means?
I have paid my dues, played the waiting game, and have earned my Green Card. Now I have to have more fingerprints taken, and pay some "application" fee so that I can continue flight training? What a joke.
