Hi all,

I was trying to assist my friend from Australia that really wants to come to America. What companies are currently advertising E3 programs?

So far I've found ExpressJet and MESA. I'm hesitant to recommend either because XJet uncertain future and well MESA....

I thought SkyWest was offering it also (pretty sure I saw it on their site in the past) but I don't see it on their website currently ?

Thanks

I've never had a problem. What did you experience?

General rudeness and unwillingness to be helpful.

One time we landed in Brisbane after a Auckland turn (middle of the night body clock time so we were all dead tired). Nobody else in immigration when we arrived. We did not have many pax in those early flights. At least half a dozen immigration kiosks were open with agents twiddling their thumbs. The crew line was taking over 3 minutes per person for some reason. I asked the supervisor if our crew (18 in total) could use some of the other agents to help things go quicker. His response was "no", then when I explained how tired we were and pointed out how long it was taking he said, "that's just the way it is mate". Felt like decking the guy, total ass.

They would also fine our crew on the spot for anything they saw as a transgression, no matter how innocent, on filling out the customs form.

They must have specifically not liked you/your company. I don't think I've even looked at an Australian immigration official a combined total of 2 minutes.

.....or perhaps he has a point.
I was in and out of Oz about 15 times last year. Some as operating crew, some as deadhead in/out, even once on my time. They almost don't even open the passport it's so quick and painless.
