Regarding ATP and the upcoming Aviation Career Expo

I was planning on attending the aviation career expo from October 17-20. The problem is I start the 90 day ATP airline career program at PHX on September 6. Would it be wise to head to Vegas for 4 days? I'm thinking it will not be. For those who actually have been through the program, please chime in. Thank you.

Go to Vegas... You are close enough, and I'm sure you'll be able to work it into your schedule if you have a chat with your instructor at the beginning of the program. As long as the JC expo isn't scheduled during CFI school... then you should be able to schedule around it.

Thank you Capt. Bob. I think I will go after I check with my instructor. I will be almost 2 months into the program by then so I does not look like it will be during CFI training. I think it would just be a great oppurtunity to meet people and see what is available at the time even though I know I will be no where near what companies are looking for as far as experience and flight time is concerned.
