Red Carpet Clubs

Can airline pilots (employees) join the red carpet clubs that the airilnes provide (specifically the company they fly for). For instance United's Red Carpet Clubs are located at most major airports across the country. With that being said these clubs are a lot nicer, cleaner, and have more amenities than most crew rooms. I would much rather hangout in the club and maybe grab a little something to eat and drink than sit in a crowded crew room.

I recall seeing the same subject in the past maybe 3 months or so.. did you do a search on crown rooms or airline clubs before posting?

I'm pretty sure in that same thread that most said that the red carpet clubs are pretty much off limits for staff.

At AMR if you are an employee you may not purchase an Admiral's Club membership. You may not, at any time, enter an Admiral's Club (unless you're an employee of said Admiral's Club actually going to work).

I do remember a post about this a few months back....... The general concensious was No.
