Red Bull Albatross

Your brother needs to be punished and punished hard for those great shots of a beautiful bird.

I propose the tried-and-true brotherly method of punishment known as the deadleg. It is your sacred duty and should you have any siblings they should have the video camera at the ready.

I like the one'e that are not HDR. I hate HDR because it doesn't look anything like that in real life.

Amazing set! You brother is extremely talented. The color and clarity is outstanding.

I'm a big prop-blur nazi, and that kind of ruined some of best shots for me. How is it creating all that spray with the props frozen? Feathered on takeoff? ;)

Other than that, beautiful!!

It's HDR: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging which is also why they look so vivid... more vivid than real life.

I wish the world looked like this, I'd go stare at things more often.

Curious...how'd he get shot bracketing so fast to be able to do HDR action shots like that? I only can get sharp HDR shots with still life scenes and a tripod.

No wonder red bull is so expensive.

But really, that has to be too much fun to consider it work.

How come the Albatross I flew in didn't come with hotties in bikinis?

Some pretty b.a. shots!

I'm pretty sure none of those shots are HDR. He's certainly touched them up, but he constantly makes fun of my addiction to HDR :)

.... went back through all of them... definitely no HDR in that set.

Awesome pics. Man I swear some of those were taken in Duluth Minnesota, and up near Split Rock Lighthouse on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Some nice shots. Your brother is very fortunate. I don't care much for HDR and especially prop pics w/o a slow enough shutter to get some sense of motion.

;)
