Today I received an offer letter for an interview for Terminal Facility within TX. It doesn't specify where, so it could be Amarillo for all I know. I emailed the lady back and haven't gotten anything back yet, but I have been applying to PUBBNAT's since #3. I will be interviewing locally here in Las Vegas. I am also curious if the interview questions for traditional route are the same as the PEPC process, if anyone knows? I am very excited and can't wait to get the ball rolling! I am not a CTI or VRA just a regular OTS with some CTI schooling. I have a few friends who are CTI grads and they didn't get offers of any sort so I AM VERY EXCITED!

Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position in Texas.

The next step in the process is for you to decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer to interview. You will be receiving correspondence from several different offices. Please respond to all correspondence/emails/telephone messages. You must respond to this inquiry in order to be scheduled for an interview.

This process begins with you being scheduled for an interview. We plan to have you interview at an FAA facility located close to where you live. Your interview will be scheduled at Las Vegas TRACON in Las Vegas, NV unless you notify us that you have relocated.

If you successfully complete your interview and are recommended for hire, the Aviation Careers Division will provide you with the information required to schedule the remaining pre-employment processing steps.

What you need to do today or not later than the close of business on April 23, 2010 is respond to this email with the following information:

Decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer to interview. If you decide to decline the ATCS position for which you are being considered, let us know. This decision must be in writing.

Review your contact information provided above (name, address, phone numbers, email address) and provide any corrections or updates. If you have not updated your information in ASAP, you need to do so in addition to providing corrections to us for the interview process.

Tell us if the facility and location identified for your interview are satisfactory or if another facility and location are preferable. Terminal candidates must interview at a Terminal facility. Our system identifies the closest facility with an authorized interviewer to your current address.

We will acknowledge your response by return email. We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible and definitely by (day and date). Remember: The earlier you respond to this message, the sooner you will be sent forward and scheduled for an interview.

Please let us know if we can be of any assistance.

Congrats! I received the same email today! I am a current Federal employee, no VRA, no military experience, no CTI, yada yada yada:

Congratulations guys.

Yes, the interview questions are the same for both processes, although it really depends on who's doing the interview as to whether or not they'll ask everything on there.
