Some random and poorly composed photos from the Western US. I'm a little lost most of the time, so I'm probably wrong on where some of them are.

Colorado, southwest of Telluride (I think):

A the western end of a big-ass storm in southwestern South Dakota:

On the arrival into Seattle on this July 4th, we got a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier....

But it was even better on the departure, which they vectored us off of (because the CRJ200 climbs like crap) and *right over* Rainier's summit:

I was in the soup during most of the flying I did out of Seattle. One day it cleared up and scared the crap out of me when I saw all of he mountains that I was flying around. I really enjoy the flying up there though.

I'm based out of Tucson, but pretty much any regional base out west will get you flying all around here. We fly trips out of LAX, SFO, SLC, DEN and ORD, though, and we get as far north as Edmonton and Calgary.

You ever fly with Captain Andy the surfer guy? I can't remember his last name, but he is a cool character. He was upgrading when I was a new hire.

Yup! Flew a 4-day with him. Seemed like a nice guy--he's one of about three surfer guy captains we have in TUS.
