going to school at Kansas State @ Salina for aviation...just took some of these pictures. Thought that you guys would enjoy some of them!...aparently some of the really good one's wont load..but oh well! I'll get a better camera one of these days...the first is just a shot of the good ol' g1000...and the other gps is my highest groundspeed ever in a 172..others are just pictures that i thought were neat...the plane landing with the RW 36 sign I have to give credit to Tom Takase...

the 0163 is actually a discrete xpndr code we have setup with Salina tower...we have so many planes in the air at the same time, its hard for the controllers to remember each one, so this helps them out a little bit in the tower.

How do you like paying $300/hr for the Baron?

hahaha..i figured some of you guys would catch the direct school...its a vfr rejoin point for SLN....and I haven't had to pay for baron time yet, but my pocket book is already cringing for it! I'm in a bit of a predicament right now...I can't decide if I should get my CFI or ME rating first...any input on the subject from you guys?

On a night cross country, fly to MHK, and pray that Ft. Riley is doing some night time artillery training. It's sweet seeing those tracers from the air!
