RAH/Frontier/E190s?

This is not another thread to start a war with RAH pilots, this is just for my own curiosity...

I just saw on the schedule that tonight my local home airport will get the first Frontier E190 service. So far, I haven't even seen any pictures of E190s painted in Frontier colors. Will these flights be operated by Midwest E190s or how is this going to work?

Ah, and now LAX and some other airports are going to be getting Midwest flights operated by A319s. I guess they aren't really going to paint the planes right?

Hmmm...don't quote me as 100% accurate, but I believe the plan is to do some painting. Right now, there aren't enough aircraft to do the flying.

how many 190's are they up to now? 12? I mean including the 10 purchased from US Air.

I think it will be a codeshare in Midwest colors.

Yah, I'd like to see the passengers faces when they board an E190 in Midwest colors. "Durr... I thought I bought a ticket on Frontier"...

According to Wikipedia, under the Midwest E190s it says operated with 99 seats, but under the Frontier E190s it says 100 seats.... mmm...

It's got 100 seat but one they MEL one so not to pay the pilots for 100 seats!;) I really hope someone turns BB's ass into the FAA for abusing their MEL.

Eh, if the company doesn't want to fill that seat, then they are just hurting themselves. This will be sorted out eventually. I honestly don't know why people get a rise out of this. Yes, it's a tricky little maneuver from the company's end, but this isn't something that's gonna go on and on. They are trying to buy some time. If they have to, they'll just take the seat out. They are running out of tricks, though. Just watch. I'm betting by summer next year, we'll have quite a little show going on over there. This is nothing.

So what about Direct TV that Frontier passengers expect to see on the flight?

What, am I supposed to be a marketing exec now? I don't know. They'll be cruising at roughly 30,000 ft and be trying to make the flight as smooth and safe as possible.

Well for a $97.00 ticket from cheaptickets.com, the passengers are going to expect a WHOLE lot more than that.
