Hey guys,
Just wondering if anybody can shed some light on what happened to the Piper that was sitting on the end of the runway at DVT on Thurs. Nov.20. Did the gear collapse on landing?
The story I heard is that they lost directional control right at the beginning of the takeoff roll due to and engine failure. Then they ground-looped, creating so much side load on the gear that it collapsed.
