Putting of doctor's visits

I was just wondering who here besides me actually puts off going to the doctor so that they don't have to deal with it when it comes time to renew their medical.

Anyone?

Personally I have not, but I do know a couple of guys who have told me, "I oughta see a doc about it, but I don't want to mess with my medical."

So it DOES happen...

Yeah, up until now that's pretty much how I played the game. Now I realize I'm getting older; I'm not going to be able to win them all--better get used to routine check ups and all that other fun stuff.

And then there are those that don't report anything! I'll leave that one for another discussion.

Child... ;)

Actually, I have a friend at church here who is a doc that I'm trying to convince to become an AME. He's interested, but just doesn't know if the time and effort are worth it. I'm going to steer him toward the right folks.

Personally, I would very much like to have my personal doctor be an AME. That way, he would know whether a medication or surgical procedure would be a problem for my flying career.

Just my .02....
