psychological tests needed for special issuance

Im currently on meds for ADHD and I am planning on getting my first class medical soon, my plan is to:

1. finish off my current prescription
2. wait 90 days
3. get all tests done by my psychologist, along with a letter from my psychologist to the FAA
4. bring #2 and #3 with me to my appointment.

anything that i'm missing or could include to speed up the process, also can an ME give a special issuance or does everything have to be sent to okc?

also, If i were diagnosed with a condition by a psychologist but never prescribed medicine/treatment will/can the FAA find out?

1) The AME will send the info to OKC where htey will make the decision.
2) Theyw ill probably want copies of all of your records. If so, they will find out - DO NOT LIE
