Psoriasis and FAA Medical

I know I can’t be the only one suffering from occasional bouts of this crap. Has anyone found an effective treatment that doesn’t jeopardize your medical? Is a visit to the dermatologist and some prescription strength cortisone cream any big deal? What about the UV treatment they advertise?

My sister has Psoriasis. Phototherapy is one of the treatments that her dermatologist suggested. She also used an ointment. I forgot the name but it's a white-colored tube with a red cap.

My wife suffers from it and she uses tea tree oil shampoo; seems to stop the itching. She also uses aveno cream eczema lotion, too.

Nothing that is topical will have any impact on getting a normal 1st class medical, and most of the injected steroids are approved now too.
