Any one have anything further on the CRJ that has rumors of flaming out both engines?

Further evidence that we need cameras in the cockpit. Many, many cameras. We can't trust pilots alone up there. Especially with a male and female pilot, they will have lots of sex instead of safely flying the airplane.

Holy crap. It looks like the tips of all the last stage turbine blades melted and welded themselves to the engine casing. Looking forward to hearing what the hell happened that could have caused that! That's insane!

The pics in this thread look pretty definitively like the turbine blades welded themselves to the casing... Then again, it looks like they all snapped radially about 1/3 of the way out. Maybe that first 1/3rd kept spinning and produced partial power?

I'd bet that was the engine that didn't restart.
