Shows the job is in CLT, goodluck! Cant remember if this was posted before, or just talked about
Sure thing! I know not everyone has time to go through all the airlines pages, so when i have time in the week i like to quickly scan through and post for everyone.I’m just here to voice my appreciation for you! The last few posts in this forum have been from you posting new job listings. Thank you for taking the effort to keep everyone in the loop!
A company doing the right thing? ill believe it when I see itPSA will now need to pay people “real” wages now as the cost of living is much higher in CLT vs DAY! Good luck!
Me too. Not a word.Any word on upcoming interviews?
I have a review on hold status
Yeah this seems stupid to be honest. Not everyone can be in MKE for 1 of 2 days on this short of notice. Makes an already super competitive, and saturated market. MORE difficult to succeed in.So I guess there is a career open house? Is that supposed to replace conventional interviews where you are able to pick a time with the airline to fit it around a schedule?
The email I got gave me a time frame right in the middle of two interviews I already have set up. Who can I talk to about this or am I going to get another email?

You are a wealth of conjecture. What I'm hearing from a source is that the job itself will be in Charlotte but training will be in Ohio and they are building a pipeline of talent. I don't know any time frames but when is the move to Charlotte supposed to happen, end of 2025? So if you figure 3 months for training that would be September-ish for bringing new hires to Ohio. With that said, I don't know if they are going to just sit on this opening for 6 more months or if there will be one class to train and start in Ohio before then. Or, if the timeline for the move to Charlotte will be earlier. The MKE Open House is just one of many outreach events they are doing in the spring at various campuses and groups, and for a wide variety of positions. They are doing some serious recruiting for all departments. I think they plan on many people not willing to make the corporate move. Also, there is a opening posted for a Ground Instructor with a dispatch cert. If they lost their trainer, that would require holding on a new class OR they could be adding another trainer in anticipation of more classes.
“Pipeline of talent.” A new HR phrase to hate. I guess it’s replaced “hiring pool” now. I guess they have better odds of new dispatchers not finding a job anywhere else, right now, but I wonder how many people in their “pipeline” will be unavailable by the time the move to CLT happens. What I'm hearing from a source is that the job itself will be in Charlotte but training will be in Ohio and they are building a pipeline of talent.
