Does anyone have a line on a retired, formally airworthy wooden prop? I have seen all sorts of replicas some of which are nice, I guess, but not exactly what I am looking for.

All mine are replicas. I was on this hunt for a while too. Replica ended up being best

Replicas are your best bet.
