I am putting this in this thread for exposure instead of the freight forum, due to it being time sensitive.

Apparently they are a 135 freight company.

Does anybody have any information about them?
Are they legit? or 134 1/2?

Anyway to find out if they actually have a certificate via the FAA website?

They could just be really small. I'm pretty sure there are ways to search for a certificate, but I don't know them. Have you tried calling your FSDO?

I called back to turn the job down but before doing so I asked for some specifics.

They are not 135, but apparently have "special papers" from the FAA that allows them to operate under 91, papers that they "don't discuss or share with their pilots".

Bunk that.

I'll keep rocking the VOR-A in a cessner.

What state are they operating their base out of and what are some tail numbers on the aircraft they fly?

I can find some information about them.

Perhaps they do renditions! How awesome would it be to fly evil doers to their tortures in countries that are hospitable to it?! Countries that understand torture beyond throwing a little water on a guy. I'd take a chance and go for it.

Based on that statement, I'd not even waste another brain wave on the whole situation. There are no "special (secret) papers" that allow any "charter" operator to operate Part 91. If there is, its called Part 91K, and they'd certainly share those papers, and FOM, and GOM, with the pilots.
