Position Description


As a manager in Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Flight Operations, tasks can include: Operates aircraft and manages production pilots performing aircrew duties, including activities to conduct production/acceptance flights, document aircraft or system discrepancies and coordinate production aircraft certification efforts; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops, trains and evaluates production pilots. Job requires FAA ATP or Commercial certificate with the appropriate endorsements.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you possess a FAA commercial or ATP certificate with rotorcraft-helicopter, instrument helicopter and BV-234 endorsements?

Do have a minimum of 750 flight hours in Chinook helicopters?

Do you have experience managing day to day Chinook helicopter maintenance activities?

Are you or have you been qualified as a Chinook helicopter maintenance test pilot or functional test pilot and have at least 200 flight hours performing such duties?
