Problem

So everytime I sign on to the site now, it shows there are new posts in each forum. But, when I click on the particular forum, it comes up with no new posts/threads. Clicking on each thread doesn't go to the first unread posts. Then, when it hit "back", it shows everything as read. What gives?
 
yeah, same here....you have to go to "my home", cookies...click "expire cookies"....then log in manually...again, then the forums are normal again...you have to do this each time you come into the site now for some reason.

its a pain in the butt!! I think Doug's working on it though.
 
I need to know two things

a) How do you enter the forum. Do you type 'forums.jetcareers.com', click on the 'forums' link on the index page or the 'graphic' on the index page? or do you type jetcareers.com/forums?

b)Which browser are you using?
 
I'm sorry Doug, I told you wrong before....
I always enter the forums by clicking the "forums" on the top left of the home page.
 
Thanks. This is driving me nuts because I can't reproduce the problem so it's pretty difficult to work on that way!

I was able to recreate the problem that Matt posted about with the following situation:

Windows XP
Firefox 0.9

Continuing to have that problem that I messaged you about before in Linux while running Firefox 0.8. When I reboot into Winblows I'll check it in an up to date IE and Firefox 1.0PR.

I enter via my favorites menu. Straight to the main page of the forum.

John Herreshoff why are you still on Firefox 0.9 ? 1.0 has been out for two months.
 
Infopop reports it as a "known problem" and guess what?

Update 6.5.1 is supposed to fix it.

Question is, when does 6.5.1 come out and is there an interim fix?
