Private pilot checkride this Saturday. Anyone know DPE Jay Brentzel?

I have a checkride with Jay Brentzel this Saturday for my private pilot checkride out of KCRQ. My instructor knows Jay and assures me he is a fair DPE. Still, it would be nice to hear some first hand stories of anyone who has used him previously. Anyone? Bueller?
 
Never heard of him, he must be new to the field. Either way, if you know your stuff it wont matter. Get out there and getttt'er done! Good luck, you'll do great!
 
Got through the oral, but the flying portion was postponed due to weather. The oral last 2+ hours and focused mostly on weather (my trouble area). I will post more once this is all over with. :confused:
 
If it makes you feel any better, I'm preparing for my PPL checkride as well and weather is my worst topic as well. I can read METARs and forecasts. I can get the briefings I need, but if you ask me what type of windspeed I should expect with mountain-wave turbulence, I'm toast.

Just a heads up. My DPE wanted me to print all the weather charts listed in the PTS and explain them to him, he also wanted me to explain everything on a raw METAR, TAF and FA...not translated. I struggled through the weather, but did great in every other area...hopefully that left him with a good taste in his mouth about me.
