Primaris first US airline about to order 20 7E7s

Re: Primaris first US airline about to order 20 7E

It is very exciting to see a new airline starting out. For some reason, I think carriers such as SouthWest, Jetblue, and these other new carriers are the future of the airline industry.

NYC is a popular place for new airlines as it seems.

For anyone interested, here is a link to Primaris Airlines.

Nah...Its not so much that, its just we've seen it before, so dont get to excited in big orders. An all business model, First class service, first class terminals....Sounds familar? How bout Legend Airlines? Midwest has made it work, but has also recently gone to more coach seating on selected flights. Who knows, in 10 years it could be the biggest and best thing out there, I just dont buy it.

I hope they make it. We need some very luxurious airlines in the world. Hey, maybe in a few years AA will buy them out too.

Hope they know something we dont, can't imagine why someone would want to start now with these gas prices.

Maybe the "Zzzzz"'s are from the impending speech about "Hey, man, this has already been posted today already!"

Re: Primaris first US airline about to order 20 7E

Who knows what is going to happen next year, or the year after, according to the press release the first 20 737s are for delivery between 2007 and 2010 and the 7E7s between 2010 and 2013. 3 years from now, gas could be cheaper or more expensive, who the hell knows

Primaris could be entering into a nice little niche market, with the elimination of first/business class on flights, an all Biz Class airline may just work out, on certain flight.

I would pay the extra money to ride on Primaris, but, that is me.

Re: Primaris first US airline about to order 20 7E

They are going to be running with half of the seats that are on a normal 757. Its going to to cost more then "a little bit" to fly on these guys if they really want to make money. Are these going to be running out of Satelitte or the main airports?

Sheesh, I have been bugging my company to get the 7E7 simulator down here in Long Beach, man, that is going to be one hell of a toy!
