predictions on when we will actually see the SLI award

I'm hoping years.

I'm actually hoping Colgan is forced to run another vacancy first ;-)

*without insighting issues* I have a feeling all 3 mgmt groups are NEEDING to run a vacancy at some point in the near future. All 3 are hiring and have to move the folks via vacancy. I sincerely hope that bloch issues his award tuesday. That would be 1 week after the last bits of info were received by him and disputes dealt with. Regardless of where you are and what you "feel" we are in limbo and until we all have a single list the CORP group is in limbo for their next integration phase. I highly doubt they are done with mergers/purchases but need us done first. The first few months will be interesting since it's 3 groups. Even if a 9E guy can hold -900CA or a CJC guy can hold -200 it won't be a single vacancy movement. The pilots must cross train, planes transfer, and the REAL question....

What uniforms will we go to? Black/Gold? Gray/Blue? O the severity!!
 
I think it will probably depend on whether the Mesaba dispute over Pinnacle DOH is accepted or overruled. If its overruled, Bloch has the corrected lists. He can put out an award right then and there. If accepted, I'm sure the Pinnacle merger committee will request time to contest it.
 
We should have gold and uniforms with red stripes, all done in sequence. We could be the Ice Capades of the regional airline industry.
 
Just because the ISL award comes out does not mean everyone can jump amongst ships the next day (or the next vacancy). Typically, there is a waiting period in situations like this before people are allowed to cross-jump. Check the conditions and restrictions section of the ISL award when it comes out.

Probably keep them separate for a while. Though, if they want to choose one I vote for black and Gold. These blues are impossible to match. Even our coats, caps, ties and pants are all slightly diff shades of blue. If we do keep the blues we should update to something less 90's.:cwm27:

People won't be able to just "jump"anyways.. there has to be a vacancy first.
 
I can only speak for 9e, but we have stopped vacancies until after the sli. To me this means that the company will put out company wide vacancies shortly after? They had said they were going to operationally fence the equipment until manuals are matched but if that is the case they definetly would need more vacancies at pinnacle asap.

I wonder if the new CEO is going to have a heart attack when he finds out how things are really run here. I really hope he cleans house

11-05 is coming out.... very small though. At least that's what my CEC source says.

You can only go so long without a vacancy, especially with how poor the staffing is at 9E & 9L.

I hope he steers the ship toward a "quality, service and training" model instead of the usual "minimal training, maximum punishments, minimal cost" model that has pushed passengers, codeshares and employees to their breaking points.
