Hello all, my name is Asmir Hamidovic and i live in Federation of Bosnia and Hercegovina! I am 18 years old and am in my last year of high school! I lived in the US for about 8 years but live here now and i also hold a US citizenship! Due to personal reasons i live in Bosnia and my mother in US, we do not communicate! I would like to ask some brillaint minds on here about my situation! I got interested in Avaition at a early age and have loved it ever since, my goal is to fly as a commercial pilot one day! Me living in Bosnia that is not as easy as Bosnian flight schools do not have all ratings and sure as heck do not need pilots havin only one national carrier! Can anybody give me some advice on how i can achieve my dream? Thanks so much :)

if I were you...(and I was kinda like you - I'm originaly from Zagreb) I'd either stay in Bosnia and finish college with a degree that is transferrable here...something like electrical engineering maybe, OR...I'd save up some money and come here and either get a job and a place to live or join the military here which would provide some job security with possibility of you learning a trade and making enough money to pay for flight training. But this is just my opinion of course.

I understand only about 65% of what i read in Bosnian! And military is a last ditch option! I'm more of a civil guy!
