Possible Cirrus Vision jet down

Inverted

mmmmmm wine
So PlaneFinder shows me when a plane squats 7700 so I googled the N number and it is a Cirrus Vision. I watched it go from about 8,000 to 1,200 where it then just showed an estimated track. If anyone has more info please post! My thoughts are with the people inside, hoping for a safe outcome.

So, er ... how did you happen to notice this in the vast universe of tracked flights??

You can set alerts to get notifications on. Apparently I must have set my iPad up to get a notification anytime somebody squawks 7700 in the U.S. lol. I just happen to see it, googled the N number and saw it was a Vision. I watched it until the last radar track.

Ah, crap. I must admit, I didn't really fully read your post and went straight to the link before querying. (Yes, beer was involved.) When I noticed, I immediately deleted my stupid question. But your reply beat me to the punch.
I remain,
Your mortified humble servant. :)

If I'm reading the history correct it looks like the my had departed SLC earlier in the day and then returned to the airport?

HUF runway is closed. Maybe that is a good sign that they at least made it to a runway.
