I need help guys.
What does the "L" stand for in MIL-L 6082B? Also what does "SAE" grade stand for? Also what does the "H" stand for in MIL-H-5606. I know what that MIL is for Military but not the other letters. I would appreciate any help in this area.

"L" is a lubricant
"H" is hydraulics
SAE is Society of Automotvie Engineers

Heres a seminole question that popped up today. Are the VOR antennas on the tail both for the nav 1 & 2, or are they seperate, one antenna is for one one is for two? Situation is if you lost one. Would both Nav units still work? Paranoid for the checkride.

Most GA planes are one antenna. On a related topic, that is required for a dual VOR check.

So would I be correct in saying because there is one on each side of the vertical stabilizer that means one antenna for each nav?
