Piper Arrow down in Norfolk, NE.

Unfortunately the pilot was a friend of mine... Was studying to get his flight instructor certificate. This was my first real close loss of life in aviation and I'm sure it won't be the last. Rest in peace Dale.

Wow. I'm really sorry to hear that man.
 
Very sorry to hear this. I don't personally know the pilot, but Nebraska is a very small aviation community and I'm sure we have multiple connections. I'm anxious to learn from the NTSB report.
