Pinnacle Airlines Corp. has announced ratification of a new labor agreement with 930 ground operations employees at Memphis and other airports around the country.
The regional airline said employees represented by the United Steelworkers AFL-CIO voted for the contract amendments. The agreement becomes amendable on May 23, 2015.
It covers ramp agents, baggage handlers, gate agents and others, about one-fourth of Pinnacle's 3,700 employees. Pinnacle flies regional airline flights under contract as Delta Connection.
Neither the company nor the union disclosed details.
In April, union members had declined to ratify a tentative agreement, sending negotiators back to the bargaining table.
