Pilot's Ties

I love the zipper ties. Today however I'll be wearing a bright green tie. I'm not a fan of the patriotic tie.

I might wear a holiday tie, but I've been debating getting some non-Christmas related holiday ties like Kwanza, Hanukkah, Ramadan (is there one?) and maybe something Wiccan just for shock value.

I'm that kind of guy.
 
I accidentally washed my tie and you know, it's black again! :)

Just like when the Jackson family wasn't selling so many records! Welcome back black! :)
 
At my company we can wear pretty much whatever tie we like. Just keep it professional looking. My Absolute Vodka tie while neat probably may worry some people although the airplane owner would like it! Most of the time he says take off the ties anyhow.

My thinking is to do whatever your company says to do. That's why it is their company. Make your own airline and then reset all the tie rules!
 
We are required to wear the company issued uniform tie and, quite honestly, that is fine with me. Let them pay for it.
 
I wish we could get rid of ties in the summer uniform altogether. Pilots look completely dumb wearing short sleeve shirts and ties. The only person I know who can pull that off is Andy Sipowicz.

Oh... and clip-on is the shiznit.

Just remember, when I clip on my tie, it's on like donkey kong.

Oh, I will wear one if I have to. I don't really expect to succeed at that goal, but it would be nice.
