Just got the email. I guess they are offering it to their alumni for free so that other people will see how many members they have and will pay the fee when they open it up to the public. Other than that I am not sure what to think about the whole thing.

I got the email. Didn't think I was an alumn, but I guess I did take my ATP written through them. All I had to do was create a password and I a profile. Doesn't look like much. I threw in some flight times and suddenly my profile is ranked 111 out of the 1148 that have signed up so far. If only I would take the RJ course that rating could grow even higher!!!!

Seems like maybe a way to see how you stack up against other people with accounts that are applying for regional airline jobs.

This website/ranking system is crap in my opinion. They give a HUGE weighted grade to ATP flying. As has been discussed before, there is A LOT more to gaining experience in aviation outside of ATP's programs (especially the time building phase where you are told when and where to go and don't have to make much of a PIC decision.)

Here is their points system:
Total Time at ATP (Weighted x 1.5)
Total Time elsewhere (Weighted x 1.0)
Multi Time at ATP (Weighted x 3.0)
Multi Time elsewhere (Weighted x 2.0)
Dual-Given at ATP (Weighted x 4.0)
Dual-Given elsewhere (Weighted x 2.0)
