Quantum Spatial Portland, Oregon:<BR /><div><strong>Pilot</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <strong>Description</strong><br /> The Pilot is responsible for the safe operation of Quantum Spatial&#8217;s aircraft. The Pilot will conduct data acquisition flights in compliance with all FAA regulations, aircraft limitations and company operating procedures. The Pilot will also conduct mission planning including aircraft performance calculations, weather interpretation, ground support coordination, air traffic control coordination, and client cooperation.<br /> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div> <ul> <li>Pilot in command responsible for the safe operation of Quantum Spatial&#8217;s aircraft</li> <li>Conduct flights in compliance with FAA CFR 14 Part 91 regulations, aircraft limitations and company operating procedures</li> <li>Effectively work with the sensor operators to safely and efficiently complete each mission</li> <li>Communicate with the aircraft mechanics to track and schedule all maintenance on Quantum Spatial&#8217;s aircraft ensuring the airworthiness of the aircraft and create the highest level of safety</li> <li>Manage FAA record compliance</li> <li>Supervise vendor compliance including fueling and outsourced maintenance</li> <li>Maintain all required charts, publications and manuals for currency</li> <li>Maintain all avionics down loads for charts services</li> <li>Move the aircraft in and out of hangar</li> <li>Perform a preflight and a post flight inspection of the aircraft which includes cleaning the inside and exterior of the aircraft after each flight</li> <li>Understand and comply with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.Assist in the installation and removal of sensor equipment</li> <li>Maintain and clean Quantum Spatial&#8217;s aviation facility to include the hangar, offices and grounds</li> <li>This list of duties may change as the flight operations department changes</li> </ul> <strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Ability to be successful working independently and in a team setting.</li> <li>Self-motivated</li> <li>Excellent decision making and problem solving abilities</li> <li>Good communication skills</li> </ul> <strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>High School diploma or the equivalent</li> <li>FAA Multi-engine Commercial pilot license</li> <li>Instrument rated and current</li> <li>1,000 hours total time.250 hours multi engine.</li> <li>2nd Class Medical</li> <li>If applying for an Alaska position, 1500 Alaska hours</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></div> <ul> <li>Aerial photo experience.</li> <li>Experience in Navajo.
