My Flight Surgeon

Sr. Aviation Medical Examiner
The new Pilot Bill of Rights has been signed and is being implemented by the FAA. As part of this process, before you can take a flight physical, you must sign an acknowledgement that you have received a copy of the way the FAA will use information you submit to them for a medical examination. Failure to sign this document will prevent you from obtaining a medical examination. They are in the process of implementing this into the MedXpress process to make it seamless. In the meantime, your AME will require you sign the paper form before doing an examination.
