Todays "youth" might just be your customer base. I'm not so sure you (if you are a representative of this company) are doing a good job at convincing anyone as to why one should go there.
Look, my criticism was purely constructive as was everyone else's but you've been extremely defensive and even insulted people who were SIMPLY TRYING TO HELP YOU OUT.
Not getting off on the right foot, IMO.
I have to say that the website is pretty bland. Beleive me I'm not one of those people that get caught up in the marketing of a flashy website. But really though I think ATP, CareerPilotSchool, and Flight Safety all have great websites. Of course the website is not the only thing that makes a good flight school. I'm sure the instructing is great. But I think that websites DO drive business or at least some interest. If you don't look legit online (even if you totally are) I think that you might steer some people away. Anyway no offense directed at all just my opinion. If you guys are a good school I hope you do well.
I won't comment on the marketability or the ease of viewing pages of the website, but what I did do was to look at the substance of what was provided. I was impressed as were a couple of other potential students who were looking for an organization with substance and not flash. . .and also important, not on the east coast, i.e. - Florida. No, the site wasn't flashy, but it showed strength of character, substance of information, and maturity. . .as if a member of the organization put their inputs into making it personal vice some marketing entity. That I liked.
. . .and it's close too. No concerns about the bad weather (snow); the area is not caught up in the hustle and bustle of people or crime. The cost of living over there is ideal, and you definitely get more bang for the buck.
What a way to welcome a new advertiser.
Glen- you're nuts. Cessna meant NOTHING by his comments. Just trying to help out FightingFalcon. What is your problem?
I don't think , well I know , its not proper , ethical or approipate for a 23 year old 172 Captain to correct a retired ex military F 16 instructor for the whole net to see.
My point is that he should have sent them a private message in a nice tactful way , not correct them for the whole net to see.
I don't think , well I know , its not proper , ethical or approipate for a 23 year old 172 Captain to correct a retired ex military F 16 instructor for the whole net to see. I'm sure they have some one in charge of the web site whom wuold have corrected the mistakes ASAP in house.
Now my I spell is not working !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why do you feel you have to continue to belittle who I am?
4. Be kind to your fellow user.
Take it outside, folks, this isn't cage fighting and 99.9% of the rest of us don't care that you two can't get along on a personal level.
Gentlemen,
breathe in, breathe out........
If you have a comment about the advertisers website you should feel free to say so in a professional manner.
If you have an off the cuff remark about what user 'x' said, let me remind you of the PM function. Nobody really cares if two people can't seem to get along.
