Pictures from the Ramp (October)

Crazy to see that A500. I didn't think any were flying considering the company is extinct and there is only a couple planes out there for parts. Great pictures!

Thanks again for all of the compliments.

Great Pics, excellent quality. I'm sure you get asked this a lot but what type of Nikon and lenses are you using?

Nikon D40 with the standard issue 18-55mm and a 55-200mm lens.

Great pics! Who operates the Dart powered Convair (I think its called a 640)? That has to be one of the last of those flying in the US.

It's a small freight company out of El Paso called C & M Airways, Inc. Some websites say that they have 6 of them, but I don't know how accurate that is.

Did you have to fuel the EC-145?

Yeah, we occasionally fuel them. Long story short we leave one of our trucks down at their hangar so they can fuel their helicopters at their convenience without having to call us. Not to mention we aren't 24 hrs and they are.

Sometimes however, we get swamped/a different truck goes tech and we have to steal that truck. So we end up fueling them whenever that happens.

Yeah things are a pain to fuel. Half way through (more like three gallons), I want to switch spouts.

I wish we could do that at our FBO. We get called in at 2 a.m. to fuel them. Not fun.
