Pool? Gym?? DJibouti??? Man, when we were there in '00, all we had was beer on the pier, and nobody else there. Times have definitely changed!!!

Djibouti is the buttcrack of the world. Its in Africa north of Somalia, and east of Eithiopia. And yea, they have a pool, big gym and full on and very nice PX as well as a internet tent set-up and pretty good food in the cafe.

Probably that same helo.. that picture is about a month old... lol

As as the Gym and the pool.. the gym ROCKS... havent been to the pool yet, but I hear they're always looking for lifegaurds...

Just a more "Americanized" ####hole than the ####hole it was in 2000! At least Yemen had SAMs and Migs and tried to confiscate our cameras when we landed. Somehow the ships' intel guys heard that I had taken video of our flights and wanted to see the tape. They made a copy and sent it off the carrier.
