probably just doing a routine low level drug dropoff over south Florida, or maybe they just forgot to latch the door.

All I can tell you is that the airplane is a DC-8 and the airline is TAMPA Airlines-(cargo airline based in Florida or Colombia, I can't remember...)

It's a DC-8. I don't remember the exact details of the story (although I've heard the story many times), but basically after departure the main cargo door opened, and the crew returned to the airport.
