So I'm in town for the annual trip to Simcom next week, Arrive Sunday afternoon and leave early Thursday morning, with my Sim sessions in the evening on Monday through Wednesday. When I get in on Sunday I want to do some golden hour nature photography, with emphasis on using a new 8-stop ND filter I just picked up (so long exposures) and I've narrowed it down to three choices:

1. Papago Park
2. Sonoran Desert Preserve
3. South Mountain

What are everyone's thoughts?

Bonus points to anyone who can get me on the field at GYR or put me into contact with someone who can, without me later hearing the words "Criminal Trespass" :p

Out east to the Superstition Wilderness. Lots of beautiful trails and views of the terrain.

The Elvis Chapel near the Superstition Mountains, shot with a 10-stop ND stacked with 3-stop soft grad ND.

Well, thanks to a certain airline that shall not be mentioned so as not to offend anyone (Allegiant) and their scheduling snafus, I won't be making Phoenix, and the required systems training I'm doing will be in-house by our CP instead.
