I didn't know they issued permanent licenses I thought you could have it revoked at any time, I guess I will try that ILS approach inverted afterall.

I did a check ride in late june and another check ride in early august. I got both (one an instructor certificate and the other a commercial cert) at the same time on friday.
go figure.

Does not adding the MEI automatically renew the CFI??

When I got my CFII the expiration date changed.

The MEI will reset the 24 month timer.
