Anybody use any aviation prograsm for the palm pilot or similar PDA? Mine barely gets any use other then being a really expensive black book. LMK if you find any good ones

You can usually get weather info for pilots if you have internet access on your palm.
Sheesh what am I talking about, they have that for cell phones now. How technology changes!

LOG BOOK PRO is about the best program I have ever found for the palm and pocket pc. It is a very powerfull logbook. Check out the following link

Co-Pilot (http://lauriedavis9.tripod.com/copilot/)

It's a flight planning program that let's you do almost everything you can do with PC software. Define aircraft, do weight and balance, xwind calculationms, etc. It also has all of the E6B functions you'd probably need to use.

There's also an =international= waypoint database generator that's available for it. (http://navaid.com/CoPilot/) The waypoint generator lets you pick the areas and types of airports/navaid/intersections you want to carry around in your Palm (it can take a lot of memory). The database really lets you flight plan.

Oh, did I mention that this is all "donationware"? Free, unless you=want= to pay for it.

You need CO-Pilot and QuickSheet.

Don't waste money on the Palm addon for Logbook pro, QuickSheet is the same money and can do so much more. I track my flights in QuickSheet, and then at the end of each month import the worksheet into Logbook Pro.
