Reading part 91 today, saw a reg in Subpart F, 91.507 that discusses equipment requirements for over-the-top or night VFR operations.

91.507
No person may operate an airplane over-the-top or at night under VFR unless that airplane is equipped with the instruements and equipment required for IFR operations under 91.205(d) and one electric landing light for night operations. Each required instruemtn and item of equipment must be in operable condition.

My question is, are part 91 operations outside of Subpart F, subject to these FARs?

I dont think so, but want to make sure since Subpart F deals with large and turbine powered multiengine airplanes and fractional ownership stuff.
