Killeen, Texas:<BR /><p>Part 135 Aircraft Dispatcher &ndash; Full time with benefits</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>Duties include direct telephonic customer interaction to identify, plan and support air ambulance and air charter transportation movements. Requires excellent customer service, interpersonal and telephonic communication skills, proactive mindset and ability to apply flight operations planning skills. Duties may include using radio, telephone, or CAD system to transmit assignments to assign aircrew and aircraft for conveyance patients or passengers. Familiarity with aviation operations preferred but not required.</p> <p><strong>Essential Tasks/Functions:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generate dispatch packages for our Air Ambulance, Charter, and Government contracted missions.</li> <li>Plan, coordinate and deliver flight plan routing, fuel requirements and weather analysis.</li> <li>Dispatch aircrew and aircraft to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using our Flight Vector CAD system.</li> <li>Support Sales and Business Development department efforts to plan and schedule non-medical transportation movements.</li> <li>Monitor personnel, aircraft and equipment locations and availability to coordinate service and schedules.</li> <li>Relay transportation requests, messages, or information to or from aircrew.</li> <li>Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment.</li> <li>Advise personnel about possible problems, such as accidents, congestion, weather conditions, or other hazards.</li> <li>Ensure timely and efficient movement of aircraft, according to transportation requests and aircraft schedules.</li> <li>Collaborate with others to plan flight schedules and air crew assignments.</li> <li>Post visual display boards and status boards.</li> </ul>
