Oregon Airshow 2016 (Horizon air)

I cannot tell you how giddy I get when I see Alaska/Horizon planes flying by or in and out of airports, and today I got to see my new plane I get to learn to fly doing a high speed pass and rocking the wings at the Portland Airshow!!!! This airshow was so awesome, so happy I got to see the breitling team and all the amazing pilot's doing their thing today having fun! Cannot wait for next year, here's a few videos :)



 
You and me both man! Cannot wait to learn to fly that beast! BTW I was at the SeaPort Caravan display this morning/afternoon until about 2pm. It was a great day seeing all the kiddos and older enthusiasts having a great time at the Air Show!

No freaking way?!??? I walked by the seaport caravan a few times but I must have missed you! I only saw a lady at the table when I walked by both times! I was there same time as you also, seriously cannot wait man gonna be so much fun!!!
 
I may have left earlier, not all that sure. Had a reduced rest overnight in PDT then as soon as I landed in PDX I went straight to HIO. So around noon I was ready to go home lol

Oh I feel ya man lol I'd be ready to leave too haha. Well shoot man hopefully see ya around pdx/sea one of these days if we don't land in the same training class!! Take care!
 
The Hillsboro Airshow is where my love for aviation really took hold as a kid. I think I went every year for almost 10 years when I lived in Vancouver.

This is the first time I have been since I was a little kid (used to go to Salem airshows) and this by far is the most amazing airshow I have been to since then. I really do love the way they have the airshow carry out and the announcers they choose keep you entertained the whole time. I will not miss another Hillsboro airshow again unless it's because of work, I absolutely loved it and I see why you did too.

I will admit to the fact that the Offut Airshow in Nebraska was a little better the year I went after moving to NE. But the line up there rivaled the line up Airventure gets...

I tried to make it out today but the family just isn't into aviation enough I guess which sucks. Gotta love being the weird dude in your group of friends/family that doesn't like the same stuff as everyone else.
